Acknowledgments

Our wedding as it is planned today, would not be possible without the help of certain beloved people.

We are grateful to
Γεωργία’s parents, Kali and Yannis, who volunteered long hours to make phone calls and even travel to our favorite sites, to reassure that this event will be well planned and special. Without them this wedding would not be possible, and probably would not even have been conceived.

We are especially thankful to Joseph’s parents Pam, and Rocky and Marie for traveling all the way to Greece for us and humoring our dream of a Greek island wedding.

We are indebted to Anthi Kerameos and Alexander Petrovski for accepting with enthusiasm to be our Koumparoi (Maiden of Honor and Best Man). Not only we hold a close friendship, for years and across continents, but Anthi and Alex helped tremendously to organize this wedding. Anthi’s hard work in gathering all relevant information and Alex’s excitement and easiness kept us going through all the planning, from overseas.

We also want to thank the many of you who volunteered to help us bring this event to life. We always like multi-faceted events and we will try our wedding to be as such. We want the most interesting music for our reception – and we trust our good friends Guncel, Dimitra, and Γεωργία’s father Yannis to deliver it. We want to have nice excursions on beaches and secluded paths and to dance Greek traditional festival dances; a couple of our friends will be helping us with all of that.

We also want to thank our professional photographer Nikos Roussis for having engaged with enthusiasm to photograph us –the couple- and you –our guests- during that special day. We also have many friends seriously engaging  in photography; we trust they will give us their own view of our spontaneous moments.

Finally, we want to thank YOU, in advance, for being with us in that special day and the ones surrounding it. We realize that for some this trip is long and expensive. We are thrilled you will honor us with your presence and we hope it is a memorable experience.
